Sally Plautz
My poor friend Sally has had a setback after her breast cancer surgery. She was allergic to the oxycodone and had a violent reaction that made her itch to the point of hysteria. Cortisone treatments made her crazy - she had to stay in the hospital until her symptoms became bearable, but her suffering continues. I feel so helpless to do anything that will comfort her, but this evening I wrote her a card which I will mail tomorrow. She will continue to be in my prayers.
