Service #15

Rob and I went skiing last Friday up at Dodge Ridge. We had planned to go and take two cars because he had to go directly from skiing to the airport in Sacramento for a trip to Phoenix. Our plans changed when Val Fogelberg volunteered to let me ride home with their family since they were also planning to go on that day. However it ended up that the only person who was going to go up to ski was Keenan, their 16 year old son. Everyone else decided not to go, but Val was still going to drive Keenan up (Val can't ski because of bad knees), sit in the lodge all day and then drive us both home. That didn't make sense to me, so I suggested that we go with the original plan, take two cars and just take Keenan up and back with us. That gave the Bishop a free day at home with the other "non-skiing" members of his family.
