Service #228

I always feel like I'm catching up - trying to remember what I've done to serve others during the past week. I'll start with last Tuesday...my colleague called in sick to work and I volunteered to teach the two classes she was scheduled to do. It was 4 hours of teaching and at least an hour more of prep time - so I essentially donated 5 hours to help her out. I enjoyed teaching the classes, but I was disappointed that when she came back to work she didn't even thank me. So really, the most important part of the service I gave was probably not to hold that against her.
