Service #24

Last week I was scheduled to teach a class at work that started at 6 pm, but I was only supposed to stay for about 20 minutes to get the class started on some online tutorials. The professor was supposed to remain with the students for the rest of the 2 hour class. However, the prof asked me if she could not be present at all because she lived in the Bay area and could drive back 4 hours earlier if she didn't have to stay with her students. Even though I had come in to work at 7 am that morning and had a seminary lesson to prepare that night, I agreed to do the class by myself. I ended up getting home at about 8 pm, but found a way to get my lesson done and it worked out fine. I was really tired, but felt good that I had made life a little easier for someone - even though I hardly knew her. I know I would hate to commute to a job more than 2 hours away!
